Jason Timmis ground out a superb 3 under par 68 to vanquish his competitors at Wollaton Park today.
The Wychwood Park professional remarkably managed to go the whole round without a dropped shot in very windy conditions. His birdie at the last gave Jason the slenderest of victories from order of merit leader Paul Broadhurst and debutant on the Eagle Tour, Robert Aldred of Enville golf club. Matthew Cort was fourth on his own after a one under par 70.
The course was in magnificent condition and the Eagle Tour would like to pay a huge thank you to Wollaton Park and all of the staff for making the day a successful one.
We now move on to Walmley on April the 23rd and look forward to another great day.
