Matthew Cort won the inaugural Tour Championship on the Eagle Pro Golf Tour after a superb 4 under par 68 in demanding conditions at Kedleston Park.
With 5 birdies and just 1 dropped shot, Cort recorded a 4 shot victory over super-consistent Lee Clarke, with George Thacker, James Burnett, Lewis Fathers and Jason Timmis sharing third place, a further shot back.
Cort climbed to 3rd on the order of merit, behind Clarke in second place whilst Simon Lilly topped the tour and wins a set of Mizuno irons!!
The greenkeeper at Kedleston Park, David Leatherland has recently completed 40 years at the club and we would like to congratulate him for this achievement and thank him for preparing a magnificent golf course for us. We would also like to thank all other staff at the golf club for a great day.
The Eagle Tour would like to thank all players for their support during the first season and we hope to see all of you in 2015!!
